When it earns its price
When the input is long and contradictory and the method has to reconcile it — insight synthesis over a dozen interviews, a strategy read across conflicting research. On an ordinary brief you will not see the difference.
Why it is not the default
Two reasons, both deliberate. It costs several times the default per run, and a preview should not quietly become the thing everyone depends on. You can select it per run; Plooi will not select it for you.
